Last year’s re-issue of The Drowns’ first LP View From the Bottom - with re-mastered audio by Seattle’s legendary Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, The Murder City Devils…and the list goes on) sold out of its first pressing, but never fear, we’ve got an incredible new colored vinyl variant hot off the presses for you!

This classic album is where it all began for these Seattle rockers, and features the ever-popular single "Eternal Debate" alongside gems like "Faithfully, Faithless" and "Overexposure" just waiting to be re-discovered! On Tuesday nights, we celebrate by giving some of the incredible vinyl from a spin on our decks here at PPHQ! Let's take a look at last night's spins!

Guadalajara's .82 are one of the heavy hitters of the international streetpunk scene today, and their records are ALWAYS in demand!

SOMOS MESS is the collection record that brings together all of the band's recorded output from 2020 through 2022, re-mastered on a single LP for the very first time. The first pressing includes 12" Electric Smoke Vinyl (/250), 12" Twilight Marble Vinyl (/350), and 12" Black & White Ripple Vinyl (/400)!

It can be purchased along with the latest pressing of the band's 2022 debut LP Under Attack on 12" Ghost Marble Vinyl as the most efficient and readily available way to get your hands on the band's complete recordings to date.

The A-100s are coming to Supernova!

They are an incredible new band blending vintage reggae and ska with Conjunto-style accordion. It features Matt Hensley (legendary skateboarder and accordionist for Flogging Molly) and Sean Wheeler (the unmistakable voice of Throw Rag).

They’re releasing their debut album Rude and Lovely on July 10 via Pirates Press Records. So far, only the single Too Rad To Be Sad is out, but we’ve heard the full record, and it’s absolutely killer. We’ll also be debuting the official video for the title track Rude and Lovely exclusively on Supernova platforms on May 22.

The album features an all-star lineup with members of Hensley’s early ’90s ska band Spy Kids, including drummer Mark McLemore, bassist Jason Bowen, and John Roy from Smoke + Mirrors Soundsystem. Plus a current member of Mariachi El Bronx and a former member of Mad Caddies.

Studio guests included Monty Neysmith (Symarip), Joe Sib (SideOneDummy Records), MIKE PARK (Asian Man Records), and even Rob Blair (bassist for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers).

To top it off, Roger Rivas of The Aggrolites co-produced and mixed the album.
