Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District Seeks Sealed Proposals

The Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District qualified contractors to submit sealed proposals for the installation of a 4-foot-high chain link fence surrounding the district’s high school football field, located at 776 State Route 58, Foxburg, PA 16036. The project must be completed in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Pennsylvania Public School Code procurement requirements.

Sealed bids are to be submitted by November 11, 2025 at 11 AM. Public bid openings will take place in the District Office Board Room at noon on November 11, 2025.

Project Scope of Work

• Fence Height & Type: 4 feet high, galvanized steel chain link fence.
• Posts: Standard schedule 40 galvanized steel line posts (spaced max 10 feet), corner, and terminal posts with appropriate bracing.
• Gates: Two (2) double swing vehicle gates (minimum 12 feet wide), one (1) single swing (6 feet wide), and four (4) pedestrian gates (minimum 4 feet wide).
• Top Rail & Tension Wire: Continuous galvanized top rail and bottom tension wire required.
• Dimensions/Perimeter: Fence must enclose the entire football field perimeter, approx. [insert footage length here].
• Site Preparation: Contractor is responsible for surveying, excavation, and installation of footers. All disturbed areas must be restored (grading, seeding).
• Safety & Compliance: Work must follow OSHA standards, ADA access requirements for gates, and local building codes.
• Warranty: Minimum 1-year warranty on labor and materials.
