Have you ever truly left your life behind? I have, and it’s a journey that feels both cathartic and frightening. It’s an act that can leave aching voids for those we leave behind, yet sometimes, finding our own happiness means outgrowing a past that no longer serves us.

In my own experience, I’ve realized that the most profound transformations often come from stepping into the unknown. Yes, it’s daunting; change rarely comes wrapped in comfort. But moving forward is how we learn, grow, and ultimately enhance our quality of life.

Letting go can be a bittersweet release, but it’s also an invitation to embrace the possibilities that await. So, take that step, breathe deep, and trust the journey. After all, when we release what weighs us down, we create space for something beautifully new.

I had to quit writing, not because I lacked the talent or skill. No, it was because I reached a point of complete burnout and frustration with an industry that undervalues its authors. The pay is simply not commensurate with the effort and dedication we put into our craft.

What's more, the submission guidelines set forth by the prevailing woke culture are often so unrealistic and narrow-minded that they alienate a significant portion of our audience. It's disheartening to see that the industry fails to recognize and cater to the diverse perspectives and preferences of the entire nation.

But perhaps the most infuriating aspect is the proliferation of self-proclaimed authors who flood platforms like Amazon with poorly written, unedited content. It's mind-boggling to witness such a deluge of trash that isn't even discernible from properly crafted literature. This phenomenon tarnishes the reputation of talented writers and hurts the overall perception of our industry.

I had to distance myself from an industry where the term "Author" elicits condescending sympathy rather than admiration. I refuse to be associated with an enterprise that belittles those who pour their souls into their work. It's a plain and simple decision – I broke free before allowing my passion to be smothered by an unjust system designed to push political left wing agendas.
