One of the first films I worked on in casting was “Indecent Proposal” - I was flown to Vegas for the table read with just Redford, Demi, Woody, Director Adrian Lyne and producer Sherry Lansing.

I’ve been around celebrities all my life, but on this day I was star struck.

Following the reading, I was at the bar with Sherry when Adrian came by and said, “Redford doesn’t want to do the movie” - shocked we questioned “why?” To which Adrian replied, “He thinks he’s going to be no good against Woody and Demi”

I smiled and thought to myself “Redford is insecure?!?” - the respect I had for him after that day went up 10 fold.

Sherry wrote about this in her book.

He was a star.

He will be missed

R.I.P. Dakoda

She was my angel - a great friend and companion.

But she liked eating the dead birds that would fly into the sliding glass door. Usually it was a day or two of not feeling well and she was back to normal.

Tonight she wasn’t so lucky.

If your dog does eat birds, please take them to the vet -
