Oh my, what a weekend it has been. DJed a wedding for a wonderful couple at the Kuyahoora Lodge up in Cold Springs and that crowd was AMAZING. They put out so much energy and just would NOT STOP DANCING, right up until the end which went just a few minutes over, we were all just having a little bit too much fun. Got back to my buddy's place around 2AM, went right to sleep, slept through my alarm but still managed to launch myself out of bed around 8:45 to get to the Randolph Hotel for the CNY Wedding Expo. Mingled with a whole bunch of folk throughout the day, handed out my card to most of them and now I have finally made it back home. Tomorrow I meet up with my next wedding couple to hash out the day's plan and what I'll be playing when. The cycle continues. I love every second of it.

And that is precisely why I always work at least one or two Dub FX tracks into just about any of my sets.

The hits are hits for a reason but when you have a library of 20,000+ tracks (for real, last time I checked it was around 23,457 or so), you are honorbound to drop at least a few bangers that nobody's ever heard of.

This past weekend was a doozy but I loved it. First off I got to DJ for the Chris Benjamin/Jim Adriance wedding on Saturday and that was a BLAST and then I got to go help out with setup for the Binghamton Block Party and I stuck around to help with the stage crew for band changeovers the rest of the day. All the bands ROCKED and I got to hang around backstage with pretty much all of them. Marina City and Gunpoets are a bunch of exceptionally cool dudes and they brought so much good energy to the whole show. Can't wait to help out again next year!

Helped run sound and lights for Home Brew this past Thursday. I gotta say, I think we did a pretty damn good job. The sound was GREAT and the band just played so incredibly well. Jim is one hell of a guy and I can't wait to help with their next show.

I've been slacking on getting some updates out but I had a great time playing tunes for the Vestal Summer Celebration hosted by the fantastic Town of Vestal Recreation Department and it sure seemed like everybody else had an excellent time as well. Got a lot of compliments on my track selection and I guess I need to download the entire soundtrack to K-Pop Demon Hunters because about half of the requests I took were from that movie.

I hope to see you all again up at Arnold Park this Thursday for movie night!
