Today, we divide and conquer. I'll be headed out to Waverly with my co-DJ, Captain Josh to take care of a wedding and meanwhile, my protege, DJ Alex, will be handling karaoke night for y'all at Craft tonight from 9-1.

It's gonna be a good day, I can taste it. It tastes like delicious coffee.

So I've easily played through the entire soundtrack to K-Pop Demon Hunters two or three times over the course of all this year's gigs. I think it's time I actually give it a watch and see what all the fuss is about.

I would just like to give a HUGE thank you to everybody who came out to Craft last night and made our first karaoke night a ROUSING success. Special shout out to The Cousins who delivered 110% on every song they did, y'all KILLED IT!

I'm sad to say that I was having a little too much fun to get any good pictures or videos but we'll work on that next time.

So I DJ'd a wedding this Saturday for a couple friends of mine and the next morning, got this message from the mother of the bride. This and the one I just got from the last wedding I did before this one might be some of the kindest things that anyone has ever said to me about my work.

I love my job.

Decided to finally clean out the workshop and turn it into a proper Beat Lab. Still a bit more work to be done and I need just a few more pieces of gear to put this puzzle all together but I'm very happy with this start.

Oh my, what a weekend it has been. DJed a wedding for a wonderful couple at the Kuyahoora Lodge up in Cold Springs and that crowd was AMAZING. They put out so much energy and just would NOT STOP DANCING, right up until the end which went just a few minutes over, we were all just having a little bit too much fun. Got back to my buddy's place around 2AM, went right to sleep, slept through my alarm but still managed to launch myself out of bed around 8:45 to get to the Randolph Hotel for the CNY Wedding Expo. Mingled with a whole bunch of folk throughout the day, handed out my card to most of them and now I have finally made it back home. Tomorrow I meet up with my next wedding couple to hash out the day's plan and what I'll be playing when. The cycle continues. I love every second of it.

And that is precisely why I always work at least one or two Dub FX tracks into just about any of my sets.

The hits are hits for a reason but when you have a library of 20,000+ tracks (for real, last time I checked it was around 23,457 or so), you are honorbound to drop at least a few bangers that nobody's ever heard of.
