Thank you Ann for posting an honest evaluation of what the recalled council is proposing to inflict on our city. CodeNext is just another example of the trend in our country to turn wonderful cities into lab tests for social re-engineering and decay. Joe Anderson's mentor in this effort is a person that touts the efforts that have been put forth in Portland. Really do we want to end up like Portland... or Denver... or San Francisco... (fill in the blank), because that is what they have in mind for our great city. Englewood council member Rita Russell Townhall 09_21_2023. Citizens are up in arms regarding the high-density proposal that 4 members on council are proposing. Englewood Council candidate Laurett Barrentine will be at Duncan Park at 10 a.m. on Sunday 8/27 for a meet and greet. It's time to put someone back in council who is passionate about representing our interests, addressing our concerns, and working tirelessly to make our community even better. It's official Laurette Barrentine will be running for the Englewood District 3 council seat in the November election. Former Councilmember Barentine has decided that the citizens need to take back the reigns from the radical members who have been running rough-shod over the will of Englewood's citizens and aligning themselves with developers.
