With the intention to attract more national entertainment to Douglas County, the county commissioners recently approved changes to the Douglas County Fairgrounds business model.

“The goal is to better balance our community access with our ability to attract high-quality, high-impact events that generate meaningful value for Douglas County,” Zach Burns, Douglas County Fairgrounds manager, said.
