Ordinance 26-13, an amendment to Gold Creek Commons, a planned unit development on a property just north of Highway 86 near the Cimarron subdivision, was approved unanimously by the Elizabeth Planning Commission on Aug. 18 and subsequently approved by the Elizabeth Board of Trustees on Aug. 25. The amendment to the existing PUD allows up to 179 homes.
