On Monday night I had the honor of performing at the New York Theatre Workshop Gala honoring Colman Domingo, Nicole Ari Parker, and my amazing producer Mara Isaacs, whose belief in me has influenced how I believe in myself.

Rooms like this remind me why I didn’t give up, even during the times when it felt like nobody was paying attention.

Still processing this night.
Still grateful.

Another day of staying alive.

Due to public outcry, the federal administration rescinded the recent 2 billion dollars in cuts to mental health organizations. This was only possible because both Democrats and Republicans spoke up, and they affected change within 24 hours. Mental health should not be politicized. Glad to know so many people agree.
