The next phase of the Lutheran Master Plan will begin on August 3, 2021. During this critical phase, preliminary alternatives will explore community preferences within the realities of the current market. The next round of public input includes in-person and online options:

The third public meeting is in person and planned for August 3, 2021, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Wheat Ridge City Hall, 7500 W. 29th Ave. in Council Chambers.

For those unable to attend in person, there will be an online activity available from August 3 - 10 on the project page: https://whatsupwheatridge.com/lutheran.

Input will be used to refine the preferred concept(s) for the master plan and is being requested about a few different concepts that propose residential, office, civic, retail, and open space uses in different areas of the property.

We are a finalist for the 2021 All-America City Award and one of our three community-driven projects is Wheaties Academy.

Wheaties Academy is a grassroots leadership program developed to expand and diversify the civic voice by building a bench of community leaders and ensuring that the diversity of engaged civic voices reflects the actual diversity of the city.
