Big changes could be coming near SR 776 & Gasparilla Road, across from the Gulf Cove Publix.

Plans are moving forward for Harbor Village, a massive 1,174-acre development. The first phase could include:

🏠 Up to 2,000 homes
🛍️ A 376,600 sq. ft. shopping center
🏨 200 hotel rooms
🏢 Office & light-industrial space

The Planning & Zoning Advisory Board just recommended approval of another step needed to move the project forward. The larger development has been planned and approved in various forms for years.

Of course, a project this size brings questions about traffic, wildlife, growth and changing the character of West County.

👀 ENGLEWOOD… I HAD TO FIND OUT WHAT’S GOING ON HERE! 🧡🌴

Remember Vino Loco? 🍷 That cute little tapas spot in Englewood?

Well, I drove by the old location and noticed that BRIGHT ORANGE exterior and thought… 🤔 Okay, something is definitely happening here.

So of course, I had to investigate. 😂

I spoke with the gentleman working on the property, and he told me he’s currently in negotiations to open a Colombian-style restaurant here! 🇨🇴🍽️

⚠️ Nothing is official just yet—he said the details are still being worked out—but it certainly sounds like we could have a new Colombian dining option coming to Englewood.

And that orange? 🧡 Now it’s starting to make sense! 😂
