A local group, Citizens Who Believe in Ennis, are sponsoring a Mayoral Forum on Friday, January 16. It will start at 6 p.m. The setting is at the Legacy Hall and Event Center, 850 I-45, on the northbound service road, just north of Creechville Road.

New Ennis girls soccer HC Victor Monsivais may have rekindled the ancient, Griffin-like Lions with wings, but Ennis flew to three straight wins to open the season at 3-0. In doing so, the Lady Lions equaled their 2025 win total of 3-14-3.
