Former Ennis quarterback and wide receiver Wondame Davis, Jr., inactive for the first three games of the season at UT-El Paso, has warmed up considerably. In fact, the redshirt freshman now leads the team in receiving yardage, average gain per catch (22.9) and all-purpose yards.

City commissioners held a special meeting on Wednesday, November 12, to discuss and determine which of two bids for Christmas lighting and décor they would accept. In the end, the 56-minute dialogue finished in a 4-3 vote in favor of the lower bid.
