A second high ranking member of the Sisolak administration that managed unemployment claims has come out against the Governor’s handling of the unemployment insurance crisis during the pandemic.

“I knew people were suffering and we were trying everything we could do to help them as quickly as we can and we felt like we're fighting … a civil war [with the Governor’s office] at the same time,” Gaa told The Nevada Independent in an interview last month.

Hi, everyone. The Nevada Center for Civic Engagement orchestrates a high school constitutional literacy program called "We the People." It was formative in sparking my interest in politics and continues to be for many Nevada kids today.
