"Dance is at the forefront of Hell's Kitchen, and in a world where the singer always steals the show, it’s wonderful to see a musical that relies on choreography to reveal depth of character. The ensemble does not simply do cool moves around and behind the “stars.” They embody the internal conflicts of the protagonists in a way I’ve never experienced. They externalize the emotions, and I applaud everyone who was responsible for this decision, as well as the incredible dancers who executed it. Choreographer Camille A. Brown so brilliantly tilts the theatrical scale away from the lead vocalists and paints a picture that is far more balanced."
