The folks behind the mutual aid group See You Next Tuesday helped install and stock a little free pantry outside of Ember+Forge cafe on Fourth and State streets – full of donated food items from the community to help offset food insecurity for the neighbors in the downtown area. The cover art of To Give to the Light, a biographical novella by Michael A. DeMarco, shows an old-time slice of life from Erie's Little Italy. In the book's epilogue, DeMarco writes: "To give to the light," or "dare alla luce," is an "exquisite Italian phrase."
