⚠️ SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH – ERIE COUNTY

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Erie County through 8:00 PM.

Conditions are favorable for strong to severe storms capable of producing:
• Damaging wind gusts
• Heavy downpours
• Small hail
• Frequent lightning

Storms may develop and move through the region quickly. A Watch means conditions are favorable for severe weather stay alert and be prepared to act if warnings are issued.

AC with a heads up…Presque Isle State Park is temporarily closed due to last night’s heavy rain.

The DCNR says the park will reopen once it is safe for visitors and the power is restored.

The Tom Ridge Environmental Center is also closed for the period.
