Presque Isle Canoe & Boat Livery

One of the entrances of the Presque Isle lagoons can be found in Misery Bay. Visitors have the opportunity to ride/paddle under the "Singing Bridge" to either enter or exit the lagoons. ☀️

Allow me to introduce myself 👇🏻

My name is Nick Samsel and I’m the founder and operator of 814 Aerial Productions.

I am an Erie native, Fairview High School and Gannon University graduate and I am proud to call this place home.

Many have asked why I haven’t been more proactive in attaching my name to the 814 Aerial persona, and I assure you it’s not because I’m shy.

I’ve never told anyone this, but one of my biggest inspirations for starting this account was the “Manufacturing Hope” documentary that was released in late 2016. Many of you who saw this NBC feature remember how they painted our beloved city - with a dark brush.

I was compelled to take action and I set off to show everyone a fresh perspective of Erie by using a tremendous tool that I had acquired months earlier - a drone.

I never had any intention of this becoming a business and I have been truly humbled by the amount of support I have received from my beloved community and its members.

The truth is, 814 Aerial has always been about Erie and promoting its beauty. There was never a hidden agenda to monetize or promote my own personal agenda. Again, this is why I have been reluctant to show my face on the various platforms I distribute content on.

I realize, however, that I am missing opportunities to engage with many followers, supporters and even critics due to the fact that there has not been a face of the account to which people can express ideas, questions and concerns to.

I’m not a big believer in resolutions, but if I had to pick one for 2020, it would be to do a better job of engaging with the wonderful following that I have.

I genuinely want to get to know my followers, supporters and anyone who consumes the content I produce, because without all of you, this would not have been made possible.

I am truly blessed to be able to do what I do, and I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you who have been with me on this journey.

I’m excited to connect with each of you and I wish you a blessed New Year.

Its only fitting that these banners were placed on the Renaissance building for all to see, because thats exactly what the city is going through, a renaissance. So many exciting things are happening all around us! Businesses, non-profits and government officials are working on a collaborative front to realize our city's tremendous potential. Lights Over Lake Erie

We were thrilled to have been invited by the City of Erie Government to capture this years Lights Over Lake Erie display, which was presented by the City of Erie and Mercyhurst University. This was a spectacular show and we hope everyone enjoyed it just as much as we did!
