One of the things we love most about what we do has very little to do with marketing itself — it’s the people we get to meet along the way.

So much of PR and marketing comes down to connection. Listening to someone’s story. Understanding why they care so deeply about what they do.

We genuinely love what we do at AKPR because we get to take those stories and help share them in a way that feels authentic, reaches the right people and shows the meaning behind the work.

Our founder, Ash Keenan, has partnered with the PSSH for a number of years, and it continues to be a rewarding brand to work with and support in the Erie community.

Need to raise money to build a neighborhood center? AKPR has you covered. ⭐

This week our team was hard at work promoting the Saint Paul's Italian Festival and raising funds for the St. Paul’s Neighborhood Center on Erie Gives Day. Between filming content, conducting interviews, handing out cannoli, and running a full livestream extravaganza, our team showed up and showed out. 🎥

The result? One of the festival's highest attendance rates in years and over $424,000 raised in the Neighborhood Center's first year participating in Erie Gives Day. We'd call that a success.

To top it off, this was new territory for our team as we branch out into the nonprofit sector. We couldn't have asked for a better first client than St. Paul's.🇮🇹
