We’re thrilled to welcome our second summer intern, Lindsey Harris. 🎉

Lindsey Harris is a junior at Elon University in North Carolina, majoring in marketing with a minor in psychology. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, she later moved to Fort Worth, Texas, before heading to Elon for college to compete as a Division I athlete on Elon’s volleyball team. She is excited for the opportunity to return to Erie this summer for her internship at AKPR.

Her time with us may be short, but her impact will be mighty. ❤️

HUGE news — our amazing client Nick is officially CANCER FREE! 🎉🙌

After a year-long battle, Nick rang the bell this week and closed one of the toughest chapters of his life. Through it all, he continued to inspire, create, and fight with everything he had.

AKPR made history this past Friday—our very first event in the books! 🎉

We hosted a Meet the Intern Happy Hour at the Plymouth Tavern to celebrate our incredible intern, Ellie. We were thrilled to welcome over 50 attendees from local businesses and media outlets.

The sun was shining, the vibes were high, and everyone walked away with a new connection—which was my biggest hope for the event.

We started the morning touring the stunning Warner Theatre for an exciting upcoming event (details coming soon!) and ended the day at the Yacht Club for an informative presentation for the Torch Club.
