June was filled with friends, fun, and family! Couldn’t have asked for a better start for summer.
Celebrated Donut Day at the USS Midway. We learned about where Papa worked and got to explore and play with a friend!
Became a dinner buffet for mosquitos while watching the Sandlot. We played laser tag before and it was so fun until it looked like we got a communicable disease from all the bites.
Met up with some homeschool friends to make swords with sticks and went on a lake walk.
One of many summer movie adventures! $6.50 gets you one movie a week at Ultrastar and it’s been amazing to go on Thursday for their 1/2 off popcorn!

We love reading and all things book so we thoroughly enjoyed the San Diego County Fair theme and exhibits.
Bartered our way into the butterfly house for cheap. People forget most fair things are privately owned and you can negotiate.

Fishing derby. She won a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fishing pole and we had fun learning how to catch catfish.
