Hey friends, I'm just about to open my new studio (ravellemedia.com) and would love your support! If you or someone you know needs product photography (ecommerce photos, lifestyle shots, video clips that show off product features, etc) or brand video (social media ads, "meet the team" videos, store tours, etc) I'd really appreciate any referrals or introductions.

Studio upgrades are going well! We tore down dozens of foam tiles and redid the whole ceiling in proper acoustic panels. The old storage area is moved off to a dedicated room, opening up another 25 square feet of studio space. Not quite done, but it's already so much better.

I'm not really an Apple guy, but when you find a good deal on Ebay it's hard to resist. These iPad Air's will be available for clients in the studio for many uses, including dialing in headphone mixes for musicians, controlling sound effects during podcast recordings, and indicating which studios are in use.

Here's a little Behind The Scenes of our tech setup for this past weekend. We specced, installed, and operated all of the sound, video, and live streaming equipment. In collaboration with , we managed to unload all this gear, set it up, test everything, and run a successful multicamera live stream with only 90 minutes of total prep time.
