Long breaks, and short cakes: Where are you DCP?
Ugh what a long break i had....from Facebook. I've been consumed with life, and work that i haven't even thought about updating anything. but with the constant encouragement from my 2nd half I've decided to try and start back up the Magic of DCP!
Lots of changes have happened in the past year! (woo as it really been that long... ?) A new person has come into my life who fills me with inspiration and we are currently moving out together so things will only get more crazy in the coming weeks but ill do my best to stay current for you guys...who just can't wait to see more DCP work!!!
Ive also upgraded my computer to a much more powerful system so graphical capabilities have increased ten fold i think.
Specs:
ntel Core i5-4570 Processor - (upgrading when can)
8gb Memory - (upgrading when can)
1TB Hard Drive
Nvidia GTX760 2gb Graphics
Windows 8.1
Along with trying to sharpen my After effects skills, I've worked hard on 3D modeling with programs like Cinema 4D and Blender. Blender in particular has opened up a whole different world for me. The world of video game design. So for the past 3 months Ive battled with coding, logic bricks and collision bounds....bleh but i actually have a working prototype! lol will it be a full game with complex intricate controls? eh not really Will it have full lush story line and quest to complete? umm probably not. but at least it will be a working solid finished concept for the Reel :) i will post screen shots of some of the textured models and possibly a link for you to download and test it out!
This does not mean in any way that the DCP videos will stop. i know you hunger for the HANDGUN 2! And i can tell you that 4 episodes of Hit man Youtube comedy series written called "The Cleaners". so keep an eye out for updates! My intent is not to stop but to just expanded my reach on what i can do visually, be it animation or video games the user can play :) I will not lie, my strengths do not lay on Coding in any language. but ill do my best. Also! My best friend Neil Kopicki Agreed to work on some music! very excited to see where this ends up. (You can check out his page here: https://www.facebook.com/sneoofficial)
In conclusion, Ive got a lot of work done & to do. Since i started this DCP Facebook, its always been about one thing, progression. to bring to you the story of my growth. Whether it be refined or raw, you'll be there every step of the way. Thanks for reading! Have a great day! :)
