Wow, what an eclipse. The Bixby was full of eclipse viewers. It was so much fun. The cold rain and snow all but vanished by Monday for the most awesome viewing day. A couple from Massachusets saw the eclipse at a friend's birthday party in Colchester, a father and daughter viewed from the backyard, Tom played guitar in Shelburn by Lake Champlain, and the other intrepid travelers went to a birthday party in Underhill. Phish had played in that same location in 1988 when the birthday boy was only 18. Vermont is amazing. Here are a few photos. Oh, and we always experienced the rainbow refraction in the studio just before sunset and this was the first we captured it in the morning.
