We’ve partnered with New Balance on several milestone events over the past few years - it taught us a lot about the soul of this brand, and ourselves.

New Balance often repeats 3 words…”We Are Makers”…and after years of chasing questions about who we can help, what stories make sense for us to tell…the answer was always in front of us.

MAKERS.

We are makers. We tell stories about makers and why their story is their most valuable asset…and most of those stories are getting buried under “content”.

That has to stop.

This quick film was not something we were hired to make - we just made it because the story was buried in ribbon cutting footage and factory tours we filmed over the years…but when you look deep into a company’s message, you find the soul that no one talks about.

Once you find that - you don’t forget.

The Essex Historical Society takes a unique approach to education & historical preservation - KD guides a team of volunteers through their remarkable hands-on approach to shipbuilding, built on trust & responsibility.

Most people drive past a maritime museum and think history. This one is still building ships.

This record exists so funders and new visitors alike understand in ninety seconds what would take a tour to explain—that this is a living workshop, not a display case.
