Want to see something ridiculous?

sculpture race happens in September, and it defines crazy.

To even try and describe it wouldn’t do it justice. Engineering, competition, crazy crowds, absurd obstacles, unthinkable designs…just…see for yourself.

As we move out of the “video” category and fully commit to pure story, we have to let go of some of our proudest work.

So let’s give a final nod to where all of our experience came from with 10 years of music videos crunched into our best 3 minutes of highlights.

Every one of these was 8+ hours of production.
Driving many hours to and from random locations.
Hours of building & tearing down custom sets.
Ridiculous lighting setups and crews.
Months of creative meetings & studio sessions.
Hauling boxes of gear up and downstairs.
Many hours spent writing shot lists & production schedules.
Late nights, reshoots, run and gun filming in public.
Tireless hours of edits and reedits.

None of it would have happened without showing up 🤝 we all thank for the life experience, the growing network of creators & an appreciation for hard work doing something stupidly original.

Tyler & Sam, aka TySam, define what it means to be a team. Just one week ago today, they tied the knot in true “pew pew” fashion - here’s a taste of their fierce journey to the altar. 🎥🥂💍

When .health.chiro approached me asking for a quick testimonial video to replace their ad on a jumbotron, I saw a colossal mistake and a huge opportunity.

Brands jump into “video” because it’s the first thing their customers see, but being seen isn’t the same as being understood.

I could have gone into their office and shot some amazing visuals of chiropractic work and fitness equipment - and it wouldn’t have mattered.

Instead - we found the proof of their work, the success story that proved their process, and it revealed the “Why” rather than the what.

No one needs a video. You need what the video offers.

Transformation, growth, evidence, clarity, and trust.

This is what THE RECORD is about. 🤝🎥

The evidence is in the production.

The value is in the conversations that happen before, during, and after production.

We visited with for hours before shooting a single frame because it was importantly we understood the story and the person behind the craft.

Every frame was intentional because the story was intentional. Without the planning and research we put into every project, it’s just a video.

And no one needs “a video” 🎥🍻 BTS credit 💡Lighting

We stepped inside De Mari’s operations to witness the controlled chaos of production, where silence signals failure and speed is essential.

From machine maintenance to rapid problem-solving, every moment reflects the urgency of keeping customers running, orders moving, and standards uncompromised. 🎥💡

During our 3-piece story with our goal was to show the art community but focus on industrial elements - I had wood & fire, but we needed water.

This lead me on a search for ceramic artists but ultimately we found . Iris stuck out as the real guru in her field, and the wealth of knowledge and passion for her craft was the convincing I needed to center our “water” story here.

But the real message we uncovered wasn’t about art, or pottery, or water, it was being open to the unexpected and respecting the process rather than focusing on the outcome. The theme of “water” took an unexpected metaphorical twist when we revealed just how FLUID the art of ceramics actually was, not just physically, but emotionally. 🎥🫖💧

The “Lowell Kinetic Sculpture Race” is a spectacle to behold, but the real magic happens the other 364 days of the year behind the scenes.

We were tasked to create a “video” to showcase a live event, but we saw a more relevant story hiding behind one of the participating teams, the struggle they’ve endured for 2 consecutive races, and the remarkable level of precision & preparation that goes into engineering their racer. 🎥🏍️

“Can you make a video?”

It always starts this way. And for many, it ends this way - jumping into video too fast and too soon could kill a life-changing idea…

I met Caedmon because I’m a musician and I’m always looking for the same drive in other musicians…the drive to create, to understand the intersection of emotion and sound…the endless pursuit of musical expression through a physical tool…Caedmon understood that perfectly.

If we just made a drum video, we would’ve drowned the story that was begging to be told, which to me was simple - This. Guy. Gets. It.

This short film wasn’t about “cameras” or “visuals”, it was connection…and if you’ve experienced the mental journey of a musician, you already know. 🤝🎥🥁

While scouting for stories with , I came across the and initially planned just a few quick shots of kids working on boats.

But once I stepped inside and met KD, everything changed. Her passion, knowledge, and commitment to preserving maritime history through hands-on education lit up the space. This museum is a bridge between generations, a place where history is built, not just remembered.

We could’ve gone the easy route of “tourism attractions” but what attracted me to this story was history and connection.

It’s easily one of the most meaningful stories I’ve ever brought to life…we hope the message is clear.
