It's that time of year! Back to School is in full effect and your community needs your support!!!! Some of South Florida's most influential crews and businesses are coming together to bring you Driven with Compassion on August 21st hosted by , & .
Tax free week is August 5-7. Pick up some extra supplies while you're out shopping next weekend!!!
Details of the program:
About 2 years ago we started a program called Give Back (renamed to Driven with Compassion) where car enthusiasts help to give back to the community.
We work closely with the Broward Education Foundation in collecting school supplies to assist teachers for the school year. They allow hundreds of teachers in Broward County to come twice a year and get the needed supplies for their classrooms. Any items that could be found in a classroom are accepted: some of these include keyboards, office chairs, art supplies, rugs, paper towels, desks, batteries, etc.
Our past efforts (from 2014-present) have resulted in the donation of over 3,300 pieces of school supplies, valued at over $6,500.
We feel it is important to help spread awareness and what better way than to use our passion for cars in helping others in need.
We will be raffling off donated gifts and the proceeds from the raffles and the entry fee will go towards purchasing more school supplies for the foundation.
