satan never had to fight me. he just kept me busy.
that's it. that's the whole strategy. he doesn't need to destroy your life. he just needs to keep you distracted enough that prayer gets pushed to later, the bible stays closed, and God is always the next thing on the list. and later never comes.
i used to think spiritual warfare looked like something dramatic. it's not always dramatic. sometimes it's just your schedule. one more episode, one more scroll, one more thing that isn't God.
the enemy doesn't need your soul if he already has your attention. that's the trap i had to see before i could get out of it.
distraction isn't neutral. every minute pulled away from God is a minute pointed somewhere else, and somewhere else has a name.
1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."
he's not waiting for you to do something big and wrong. he's waiting for you to do nothing. just stay distracted, just stay comfortable, just stay one step away from God without ever fully walking away. that's enough for him.
don't give him enough.
that's why we built GospelBot inside the app. so when you've only got two minutes between everything else screaming for your attention, you can still get scripture-rooted answers in those two minutes instead of giving them to something else.
comment GOSPELBOT and i'll send you the link.
