The Cardinals girls golf team places second at the Frontier League tournament at Spring Hill Wednesday afternoon. Senior Marleigh Grant placed second individually, junior Brooklynn Akers placed sixth, sophomore Lily Wright tied for seventh, sophomore Josie Vogt tied for ninth, freshman Payton Lewis placed 20th and junior Leslie Cundiff placed 26th.

Elementary students participated in the annual Jogathon Friday. Students from each grade level ran and walked two 15-minute intervals with a five-minute rest break between. The event raised money for the PTO through student sponsorships and pledges.

High school students volunteered at the event and encouraged participants. The volunteers also gave water bottles to students for best effort prizes. Families came to the event to cheer for the students.
