KWPT is turning up the heat this December, and we want you in the kitchen with us! From December 1st through 22nd, send us your boldest, coziest, most brag-worthy winter and holiday recipes. Entrees, desserts, soups and beverages are the categories. Our staff will crown a winner in each category, complete with prizes and plenty of bragging rights.

Then in February, get ready for the big reveal: our listener-built “Stuck in the Griddle with You” cookbook! Yes, folks, you can buy this one of a kind classis hits cookbook for your very own! Here is the BEST part: every dollar of profit goes to support our dear friends at Humboldt Paws Cause. Their tireless efforts in reuniting lost fur babies does not go unseen. We see you! 😽

It's almost December and KSLG is teaming up once again with Betty Chinn for our annual Warm & Fuzzy Clothing Drive!

Come hang with Sabina and Dale on Friday 12.5 from 10AM to 2PM at the Eureka North Coast Co-op! We'll be rockin' a live show and accepting donations of warm, winter clothing that can help our community stay cozy this season!

We are looking for items such as blankets, jackets, sweaters, wool socks, shoes, thermals, gloves, beanies... any fall or winter wear. Please only bring items that are either NEW or GENTLY USED :) We cannot accept any summer clothing at this time.

Please come by say hi! and consider donating if you can. We're all in this together!
