1. The most important step to take when deciding to purchase a home is to gather up your recent payroll check stubs or history. Have copies of 2 years tax returns and rental payment information or existing home mortgage payments.

2. Apply for a home mortgage loan with the lender you have determined is the right person for you to work with.

3. If you have already chosen your Realtor allow them to guide you through this process and listen to their suggestions.

4. Once you’ve chosen a lender always remember, “There’s two people you never lie to, your mom and your lender.” They need to know your credit worthiness to make one of the most important financial decisions to help you.
