Another Flash fiction Event is upon us!

Come one, come all to the Winter/Holiday Flash Fiction and fun event. Bring a story to read or just hang out and be read to. Word count limited to 1k words. Bring food or drink to share and we will all have a good time!

Join us on Sunday, November 9th at 2:30 PM for Dinner & A Show!
We'll see the riveting staged reading of Character Assassination by EWW's own Emmy-winning screenplay critique group lead, Chris Canaan, at Piven Theater's renown blackbox theater (927 Noyes St, Evanston. Inside the Noyes Cultural Arts Center). Produced by EWW board member, Patricia Stankovic. After the show, we'll head over to Evanston's legendary Dave's Italian Kitchen for an early & delicious group dinner (est. 4:00pm)

EWW member News: Agatha Georges's first illustrated chapter book, Elliot & Bo, about 10-year-old Elliot and his penguin friend Bo, and their fantastical adventures in Icyland is out 10/23/25! About friendship and doing good for the planet, this book is great for kids ages 6-11 who love the Magic Tree House and The Chronicles of Narnia!

This is a fun, social activity, no critiquing. Costumes are highly recommended. Let's show are creativity both on the page and on ourselves! See you all there!
