So this administration thinks it can rename Lake Ontario… WE ALL KNOW that Lake Ontario shares space between Canada and the US. Lake Ontario's name is from the indigenous tribes. And by the way Canada hold the gate to the Great Lakes to shipping to and from the Atlantic via the Welland Canal. Maybe Canada can close the gates to ships bound from/to ports on the US side. Just stop trying to rename things mr tRump…

Over the weekend we found out we have been selected for not one but two additional film festivals! Fresh Coast Film Festival in Marquette, Mi 9/15-18/2026 and the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival in Monterrey, Mexico 9/8/26.

Sad day when the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) announced that it has reissued the permit for the Great Lakes Tunnel Project (GLTP) intended to house a proposed replacement for the existing 73-year-old Line 5 dual pipelines currently located on the lakebed.

This is based on flawed information and testing done of the rock bed. Independent engineers with expertise in tunnels all agree this tunnel will collapse as the bedrock is porous, more like mud and the tunnel cannot withstand the pressure.

If Gov. Whitmer signs off on the tunnel project it goes totally against not only the environment and the betterment of people in Michigan, Wisconsin and Ontario, it goes against what she said she would do - SHUT IT DOWN! See more in our film Water is Life.
