Possible Homicide Leads to Vehicle Accident

Justin Erdmier | November 1

Sgt. Winsett, EPD Public Information Officer, reported to us that on Oct. 31, around 6:45 P.M., officers responded to a vehicle accident on Kentucky and Keck.

He reports that once officers arrived, they could immediately tell that the driver was deceased. Both paramedics and EFD responders attempted life rescuing measures to no avail.

Upon further inspection by the coroner, it was discovered the driver died from a gunshot rather than the accident. EPD has turned the case over to homicide and the investigation is still underway.
