🎈Good morning! I'm looking forward to a special day. It's my birthday! 🎈I am so thankful for another year of life, good health, living my dreams with the man of my dreams, loving our children and grandchildren, still having my mother alive, in touch daily with my childhood best friend, and especially doing life with Jesus as my Savior and Lord! All my life He has been faithful, through the joys and the hurts. I am so blessed! 🙏

Plans today include some thrifting, lunch with my Mom and youngest son, calls and video calls with other family, and a quiet evening at home with my darling person. Tomorrow will be part 2 including a special evening downtown!

Christmas makes us nostalgic, yes? We tend to look back at long ago memories. Here is little me with my Christmas doll at my Grandma's house. Those eyes are sparkling with the joy of a new baby to take care of! Christmas is about a real baby - Jesus, God's Son who came so we could see what God is like, and to pay the penalty for our sin. So grateful!!! Enjoy your day! 🎄

Practice 'luften' like they do in Germany! Opening your bedroom window (even in winter!) while you make the bed let's some fresh air in and stale air/bacteria out! Better for our health and overall well being. Anyone else try to do this? I'm going to try to put this good habit into daily practice. 😊
