🍁 Today's preschool prep allowed me to use my brand new crayons and some googly eyes. I think the kids will enjoy this little learning station, adding leaf hair to the boy and girl faces. 😁 They will just lay the leaves on there without glue, so the next little friend can come along and rearrange a different hairdo. Doesn't it make you want to try your hand at it?! It did me as you can see! 🍁

Our preschool walk through the Friends Forever Forest was sweet yesterday! Birdsong, exploring, and fresh air are always a good idea. ☺️ These children make my heart sing. "I love you Ms. Donna" are some of the sweetest words I hear.

You are loved too, friends! Every single one of you are loved by the One who made you and has a purpose for your life. ❤️

“In the beginning the Word (Jesus) already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.”

Life isn't normal right now. I am on the road a lot more than usual. It was tempting to bring a pizza home for dinner. But I knew I had some secret weapons on hand for a 15 minute meal at home.

✔️Rotisserie chicken legs in the freezer.
✔️Idahoan Baby Red instant potatoes in the pantry.
✔️A slaw mix, bell pepper, and onion in the fridge.

A delicious and healthy-ish meal in 15 minutes flat. Thank You, Lord!

PS...sautéed slaw mix with peppers and onions is tasty!!

Good Tuesday morning! Sunshine and low 80s here today. I'm excited this morning to start reading through the New Testament of the Bible. I finished the Old Testament yesterday, which is 39 books of the Bible. So rewarding!!

I look forward to preschool and then visiting my mother as she was moved to rehab yesterday. Another step closer to home! Life gets hard sometimes, and with Jesus in my heart, I don't have to go it alone. He's where the joy is!

“Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭78‬-‭79‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🍁 It's Fall! The perfect time to make nature inspired crafts with your favorite kids! A stick can become a funny person or animal.😆I made these with young friends 2 years ago. 🥰 I am planning something fun for our preschool kids this Thursday. It might have to do with making leaf hair-do's. 🍁

🌺 After cutting back the nearly dead zinnias yesterday, I snipped the nice blooms and put them in jars to make bouquets for my patio table. I'm leaving them outside because the butterflies are still coming to visit them. Can you spy an itty-bitty butterfly in this picture? 🦋 I hope you have a good day. And I pray my mother feels less pain and gets more rest today. 🙏

“Then the leaders of the Levites...called out to the people: “Stand up and praise the LORD your God, for he lives from everlasting to everlasting!” Then they prayed: “May your glorious name be praised! May it be exalted above all blessing and praise!”
‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭9‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Daily Habits ~ Here are some of mine...what are some of yours?

💦 Water before coffee, Bible and prayer, take supplements, make the bed, talk with my husband, hand weights, 1 mile walk, an apple/beets/carrot snack, and read for pleasure. 📚

It's one of my favorite days of the week. 🌺 And we have much to thank God for today as He helped us through some real challenges last week. My mom's back surgery seems to have relieved a lot of her pain. Thank You, Lord!!! Looking forward to time worshipping Him and resting today.

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🎈Not sure which is more exciting! You vote! 🎈

1) 4 pounds of ground meat cooked in the crockpot and headed for the freezer in 1 pound portions. 2) the broken garbage disposal replaced. 3) Or fresh cabinet liner and tidy bins under the kitchen sink.

My answer is in the comments. 🥰

Good morning! A beautiful day here in SW Indiana. Full of prayer this morning as we will soon head to the hospital for my Mom's back surgery. The surgeon will inject cement around her broken vertebrae, which should relieve her pain and stabilize her back. Praying for her to tolerate the surgery well and feel better afterwards. I hope you have a great Saturday!

“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬
