University of Evansville's Annual Day of Giving of Pep and Vim is just around the corner on April 13, 2019. Let's help bring awareness and raise funds for UE's Neuroscience department! Please feel free to share the link below to help promote our personal fundraising page!

Your support of the Neurosciences will allow for more resources for students, faculty and programming. If we reach 50 donors, an anonymous donor will donate an additional $1,000 to the Neuroscience department. Please considering making a gift today!

Facts to know about UE's Neuroscience department:

Neuroscience B. S. started as Psychobiology in 1976, one of the first 10 programs of its kind in the nation. This was a collaboration between Dr. John Lakey in Psychology and Dr. Karen Ott in Biology. After Dr. Ott left UE, the program was not picked up by Biology and remained in the Psychology department. During its first 30 years, the program had between 0 and 5 students at any given time.

The program now boasts 58 majors. When considered with other natural science programs, it is second in size behind Biology (76). Neuroscience has more students than Mathematics (52), Biochemistry (24), Chemistry (14), Environmental Science (11) and Physics (6).
