Update the water will not be shut off tomorrow in Evening Shade. This will be rescheduled for next week.

We are rescheduling this outage/repair for the beginning of next week. We will keep you updated on specific time and date.

Evening Shade water customers: the water will be shut down on December 10, 2025 around 11:00 am due to having to repair a water main on Circle Drive and on Main Street. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will get water back up and going as fast as we are able to. Also, we will be on a precautionary boil order once water is restored. We will keep you posted on when the boil order is lifted. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Also, if you are an Evening Shade Water customer and are not on our "Text Alert" list, and you would like to recieve updates via text, please call or stop by City Hall and get signed up.

This will be great music with two different bands. It’s free to the public with a donation if you can. The Evening Shade Fire Department will run the concession stand. Your host is Tracy Morris. The donations will go to the organization named The Call. Right here in Sharp County The Call helps those who are in the foster care and their foster parents. Ashley Beller is the coordinator for Sharp county. Come enjoy music in the gym and help those who are in foster care. The Call is there for them. See ya there!
