The latest seasonal weather outlook reflects a more typical La Niña weather pattern. Cooler and wetter-than-average conditions are anticipated from January to March.

Cooler yet seasonable weather is here. Snow levels have plummeted well below mountain pass highway levels, bringing an end to further runoff.

The minimum disposal fee at facilities is increasing to $30 starting January 2026. Solid Waste services are funded by user fees, not tax dollars, and this is the first increase in the minimum fee in more than 16 years. Learn more at bit.ly/SWFeeChanges.

The wind isn’t done with Everett yet!

Downtown Everett and South Everett areas are under a wind advisory until 7 p.m. tonight per the National Weather Service.

Expect south winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

Rain is in the forecast after 5 p.m. tonight. Temperatures will reach a low of 38 degrees and remain in the low to mid 40s throughout the weekend.

Proceeds from a two-day holiday festival at Lucky Dime in Everett will support Evergreen State Fairgrounds emergency stabling efforts after severe flooding forced animals and owners to evacuate.
