A pedestrian was found dead after being hit and dragged by a vehicle Sunday morning on Casino Road.

Police have identified the vehicle and impounded the car. No charges have been filed at this time.

The vehicle continued to drive after hitting the man, resulting in the victim ending up further down the road.

Everett Fire Chief Dave DeMarco released a detailed statement yesterday regarding the stolen fire engine that damaged 11 vehicles.

The suspect had to overcome several steps to get the engine moving Chief DeMarco said. Leaving an engine idling is common practice.
