VINYL DJs WANTED

We’re looking to add more DJs to the once a month rotation (more nights available if you wish) Apollo Exos Records Downtown, Everett, WA

NON-NEGOTIABLE:
• VINYL ONLY. No laptops. No controllers. No exceptions.
• You must know how to properly match levels between records. Basic DJ skills matter. VERY NON NEGOTIABLE
• Know the science of a turntable and respect the gear.
• Be reliable, prepared and completely self-sufficient.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Deep cuts over obvious playlists. Know your s**t.

Rock
Metal — ’80s metal through death, doom, thrash and black metal
Goth / Post-Punk
Punk / Hardcore / Oi!
Hip-Hop

These are paid 4-hour sets.

You should be able to read a room without abandoning what you do. We want people with a point of view, deep collections and an actual love for playing records.

No dicks. No slackers.

It is very sad to see Höfner go out of business. They have been making instruments for over 100 years, and I bought my first Höfner bass in the sixties. I have loved it ever since. It’s a wonderful instrument to play: lightweight, and it encourages me to play quite freely. It also offers pleasing variations in tone that I enjoy. So, commiserations to everyone at Höfner, and thank you for all your help over the years. - Paul
