This cast iron hibachi has been a lot of fun to cook with. I’ve really been enjoying cooking over charcoal again and this little $46 hibachi has been delivering. I got a great sear on these steaks on our last camping trip, and we cooked baked potatoes in tin foil over the open fire for that perfect camp dinner. 🔥

As the sun begins its nightly ritual of dropping below the horizon, the sounds in the campground begin to soften and the crackling of the campfire mixes with the laughter as we exchange tales from the day’s adventures.

This is the time of day in the campsite that I often enjoy the most. 🏕️

Spent the weekend at Grayland Beach State Park just south of Westport, Washington and it was exactly what we needed. 🌊

The perfume of the ocean drifting through camp, the sound of lapping waves filling the air, and slow beach days that reminded us why we love getting out here in the RV. There’s something about falling asleep to the Pacific that just resets your soul.

If you’ve never camped here, add it to your list. Coastal camping at its best. 🏕️

Gathering around a campfire with pie irons and a bed of glowing hot coals 🔥

Making mini pizzas over the fire is just as much about the experience as it is the meal. Everyone gets to build their own with all their favorite toppings before sealing them up and listening to the sizzle over the coals.

Simple food and a great meal. 🍕

The mighty Pacific Ocean along the Washington Coast has a way with slowing you down 🌊

Cool ocean air, waves rolling onto the shoreline, driftwood dots the landscape while the sand berm stretches for miles up and down the beach. It’s the kind of place that makes you stay just a little longer and breathe a little deeper.

This is one of those unforgettable quiet moments. 🫶
