What an incredible day paddling down the Weeki Wachee River in Spring Hill, Florida! The water is absolutely gin-clear, flowing like liquid glass over the sandy bottom. Every bend in the river reveals another breathtaking view, from lush greenery to schools of fish cruising beneath the kayak.

With visibility this good, the fish don't stand a chance of hiding—you can watch them dart through the grass, glide along the bottom, and disappear into the shadows of the springs. It's one of Florida's true natural treasures and a reminder of just how beautiful the outdoors can be.

If you've never experienced the Weeki Wachee River, add it to your bucket list. Paddle more, worry less, and take time to enjoy the wild places around us.

I’m not sure who I was talking to about grouper the other day,
I just had one of the freshest grouper filets I’ve had in a very long time. I highly recommend Upper Deck Restaurant across from Roger’s Park in Weeki Wachee Fl.
Awesome outdoor seating, great service and lots of entertainment watching the bridge jumpers belly flop…

Forrest Gump Point in Monument Valley. Many people make the detour from Route 66 to see Monument Valley. Where’s Capt Dan??
