We are SO excited to introduce Little Shades, our brand-new YouTube channel for kids, from the Shades of You family! 🌈

Meet the Little Shades:

🌊 Kai β€” the calm one, who knows every ocean secret

🦎 And Hue, the little chameleon who changes color with every song!

Six friends of every shade, learning colors, numbers, letters, and kindness through original songs, made right here in Hawaiʻi. Because every child deserves to see themselves on screen. ✨

In our first song, Humpty Gets Back Up, the king's men couldn't put Humpty together again, but the Little Shades can. It's a soulful R&B nursery rhyme about falling down, getting back up, and friends who help. 🎢

Today, I celebrate freedom. β€οΈπŸ–€πŸ’š

I would not exist without Juneteenth.

The freedom won on June 19th, 1865, is the very reason I get to stand here today β€” as a Black woman, a creator, and the founder of Shades of You. Every coloring book I make is a love letter to that freedom: pages where our children, our queens, our kings, and our culture are seen, centered, and celebrated in full color.

Shades of You exists because freedom did. πŸ™πŸΎ

So today I'm honoring the ancestors who never got to see this day β€” and pouring that gratitude into everything I create. Happy
