“This is one of the most successful North Slope lease sales we’ve seen in years,” said Gov. Mike Dunleavy. The State of Alaska will receive $17.5 million in cash bonus, $6.6 million more than last year’s cash bonus and the highest amount since the 2018 annual sale.
