UAF is hosting a seminar Tuesday at noon to explain where their LED research has taken them. The seminar is open to UAF students as well as the general community.

While the FNSB usually makes improvements to one park each year, through the Capital Improvement Program, two parks will see renovations this year.

Over 100 people gathered in Fairbanks to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Friday, despite cold temperatures. One protester said recent actions from the Trump administration such as “kidnapping the head of a foreign country, threatening Greenland, threatening Canada, threatening Mexico,” have frustrated her and called the actions “lunacy” and a “stomach hit to democracy.”
