Highlight reel of my "How to Pose" workshop at VIRAK STUDIO.

I made the photographers pretend to be the model. My belief is that if they can't do the pose themselves, theywill have difficulty conveying their vision to the subject/model.

This interactive class was designed to help photographers give clear instructions to their model on posing while keeping them comfortable and relaxed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Rant + Announcements:
I wish I could use this page more often, but ever since the changeover to "Meta," the user experience has been horrendous. We have to pay to get user engagement. Our posts are hidden if they don't conform to the Meta algorithm. Worst of all, we are exposed to more spammers as everything we do is Public.

Our 4-Year anniversary is coming up in February and I'm hoping to use this page to promote it. Spammers, please remove me from your lists because it's annoying and I'm not stupid enough to fall for it.

We also have PhotoFest coming back this year!

Virak Studio will be closed for the remainder of the year. I'm leaving for my honeymoon this weekend and will not have access to email, internet or phone.

Following our honeymoon we will be celebrating the holiday season with family and friends.

We will re-open the first week of 2023 and spend that time catching up with emails and outstanding projects. Thank you for your patronage this year and your continued blessings!

Photo shoots and studio rentals may be scheduled Monday - Saturday between 9am and 9pm.

Sundays are reserved for us to serve at our church but we can make case-by-case exceptions for weekend bookings.

- We will be CLOSED the last 2 weeks of Sept 2022 and first 2 weeks of October 2022. I'm getting married in October and I want to practice work/life balance! As much as I love what I do, I cannot let my work consume me!

Editor's Note: On May 14th at 11am we will be conducting a "Model Search/Audition."

I am putting this together because I hold monthly workshops for groups of photographers and I'm always scrambling to find models to fill roles.

No-shows, tardiness and poor communication are automatic grounds for disqualification. Only apply if you have a genuine interest. Thank you.

Virak Studio is actively looking for models for various workshops.
We host educational workshops for photographers and need models for various topics. Position is paid and will vary depending on experience and unique talents (ballet dancer or contortionist will earn more than popular Instagram model).

Payment is done by digital money transfer for record-keeping purposes.

Weekend availability is required (during the day). Some nights during the week may be requested.

We will also consider TFP (trade for pics) models. In exchange for your time we will compensate you with photos as an option. Please make note if this is what you are looking for. TFP shoots are limited but considered.

Please submit at least 3 photos (does not have to be professional).

Note: You are never expected to pose beyond your comfort level. We have a "no-touch" policy and photographers are not allowed to physically handle models.
If you want copies of photos taken you must make individual arrangements directly with photographer; photos are not guaranteed.

No-shows, tardiness and poor communication are automatic grounds for disqualification. Only apply if you have a genuine interest. Thank you.
