Ch***pa is known for its extensive line of lever-action ri**es based around Winchester’s classic Model 1886 and 1892.

The company's Wildland series brings these designs into the 21st century, with “tactical” features, like aluminum fore-ends and adjustable buttstocks. Ch***pa Fi****ms is returning the Wildland series to its roots with the 92 Field and Core, ri**es that keep it simple while still offering modern features.

CCI began its am******on innovation 75 years ago when Dick Speer—the brother of Vernon Speer, who started Speer Cartridge Company—decided to start his own company making primers for centerfire am******on.

He got a large contract with the military and eventually the company began manufacturing rimfire loads for nail guns. The next step was obvious; it wasn’t long until CCI was making rimfire am******on. Eventually, CCI added rimfire shotshells, handgun shotshells and the Blazer line of centerfire ammo.

Today, CCI catalogs 149 products, and it offers the largest line of rimfire am******on and primers in the industry.

Great fi***rm designs refuse to die, and in a world of polymer and electro-optics, we sometimes need to be reminded that there are pistols pushing their 100th birthday that can still hang with the most contemporary semi-automatics.

Springfield Armory proved this with its SA-35, a modern rendition of John Browning’s classic High Power. Originally introduced in 2021, it garnered the 2022 NRA American Rifleman Golden Bullseye Award for Handgun of the Year.
