๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ HAPPY US FLAG DAY ARKASNAS! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today, Americans across Arkansas and the nation celebrate Flag Day, honoring the adoption of the United States flag on June 14, 1777.

For nearly 250 years, the Stars and Stripes has stood as a symbol of freedom, courage, sacrifice, and opportunity. It represents the men and women who have served our country, the generations who built our nation, and the values that unite us as Americans.

As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, Flag Day is a reminder of our shared history and the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Take a moment today to proudly display the American flag and remember what it represents.

God Bless America. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ‰ 2 YEARS OF FOOD, FRIENDSHIP AND FAMILY IN CAVE CITY! ๐ŸŽ‰โค๏ธ

Baileyโ€™s Family Restaurant is celebrating 2 years in Cave City, and the anniversary brought back some special memories.

The restaurant recently welcomed back the very first couple ever served when the Cave City location opened 2 years ago. Their return gave the Baileyโ€™s family a chance to relive opening day and celebrate the friendships built along the way.

The celebration also honored longtime supporters Jody and Richard Hawkins, who faithfully drove to the Melbourne location 1 to 2 times each week long before Baileyโ€™s opened in Cave City. Owners say Richard often encouraged the family to bring the restaurant to Cave City, a dream that eventually became reality.

Today, Baileyโ€™s continues to serve the community while building relationships that go far beyond the dining room.

The Baileyโ€™s family says many customers have become more than customers โ€” theyโ€™ve become friends and family.

Congratulations to Baileyโ€™s Family Restaurant on 2 years in Cave City!

๐Ÿšจ BREAKING NEWS IN SHARP COUNTY ๐Ÿšจ

A high-profile arrest is making headlines across North Central Arkansas.

Sharp County Coroner-elect Seth Wortham has been arrested following an investigation by the Sharp County Sheriff's Office involving allegations connected to a paid pet cremation service.

According to investigators, a pet owner paid for cremation services and later received ashes believed to be those of their pet. Authorities now allege the pet was never cremated and was instead buried in Sharp County. Investigators further allege the ashes provided belonged to another animal that had been cremated years earlier.

Wortham was booked into the Sharp County Detention Center on allegations of:

โ–ช๏ธ Theft of Property
โ–ช๏ธ Obstructing Governmental Operations
โ–ช๏ธ Tampering with Physical Evidence

The case has been turned over to prosecutors for review and possible formal charges.

Sheriff Shane Russell says investigators remain committed to a fair, thorough, transparent and impartial investigation regardless of an individual's position or status.

โš–๏ธ Authorities stress these are allegations only. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
