Until something like 2020, I thought “Tame Impala” was pronounced “tah-may impala” because I’m a silly goose and had never heard anyone say their name out loud. I’ve been more than a little bit embarrassed about this fact for the last 5 years. I’m now working on a track tentatively titled “Timpani Impala” to reclaim my power.

I've decided that I'm just going to start dropping tracks just for the plot. You couldn't stop me if you wanted to.

A fun dance track I made in ableton and then threw a bunch of silly samples on top of. Out here dropping tracks for the plot.

Here are one hundred and forty four albums that mean a lot to me, in a very silly and arbitrary order. There is a fun pink and green version that matches my logo and then a potentially easier to read version of white text on a black background.

Step one: spend decades listening to music and learning how it’s made and how to make it yourself
Step two: buy a bunch of music production gear and try not to go insane while learning how to use it
Step three: make a song that sounds great in your software
Step four: realize the truth about how much the loudness wars have destroyed dynamic range
Step five: wipe your tears and learn about compression
