Confused about the FDA’s recent removal of Black Box warnings on Menopause Hormone Therapy? Let me cut through the noise.

The headlines are finally catching up to what evidence-based providers have known for years: hormone therapy is safe when done correctly.

But here’s the part they leave out: saying “hormone therapy is safe” is like saying “pain relievers work.” Sure… but I wouldn’t treat a migraine with children’s Tylenol.

Not all hormones are the same.

At Balanced Body Solutions, we use bioidentical estradiol and progesterone—the same molecules your body made when things were running smoothly (before Aunt Flo packed her estrogen suitcase).

Think of it like this:
Acetaminophen and ibuprofen both help pain, but they’re not the same.

Same idea here:
Bioidentical progesterone ≠ synthetic progestins
