Sooooo…It’s been a minute. 😅

Okay, it’s been like, a few months. But hey! No biggie, right?

What had happened was, I so-called myself cutting my hours back so I could finally have time to build this thing, and then school let out and I got humbled by my busy 6 year old. And then my ADHD and imposter syndrome had completely different plans for the summer. Filmed and shot a lot of content, but talked myself out of posting any of it. Between it all, the ball just stopped rolling and I gave up. Temporarily, of course!

So instead of waiting on the perfect comeback post, which was never coming, we’re doing this the messy way. Photo dump, but make it chic! 😌😂🙌🏾

Though work and Axel kept me beyond busy, we still made time for fun and adventures. Here’s some of my favorite moments from this summer in one swipe. Family trip to Cancún. Partying it up with the Savannah Bananas. A fun pool day in the city that lasted all day. Checking out the FIFA Fan Festival with my dad, who was in town from Lagos, and Axel, who has not stopped talking about soccer since! The farm continues to grow, with two new calves and a baby donkey. And a couple of trips down to the city to even it all out.

City girl, rural world. Same as ever, just quieter than usual. Ready for my comeback era…for the millionth time. 🙃😅😂

Ending the day the only way I know how… removing everything 🫶🏼

In between the 500 Hot Wheels and randomly watching car shows, it’s safe to say Axel is a “car guy” through and through! 75% of our conversations is about cars. It will be very interesting to see what he grows up to be. 😂 🏎️💨

I may have been MIA online, but at least I got to make some new core memories. 🥰

A year of growth, grounding, and choosing what mattered most. Grateful for the quiet chapters, travel adventures, and time spent with family and friends. Excited for what’s to come this year!

I seriously almost shut this thang down, but my mama didn’t raise no quitter! lol 😤🤣

No, but for real, I wasn’t sure if it was even worth me giving it a try again. Life got extremely busy and didn’t think I could fit it in, nor that I could produce good enough content. But I truly did miss it and want to give it another shot. So, this is me choosing joy, creativity, and starting again — in a way that fits this season.
