You are invited to another Xcel Community Meeting on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 4 - 6 PM at the Park County Office Building at 856 Castello Avenue to discuss the large pole replacement project that will require an outage for Park County Xcel Energy customers.

The project and associated temporary electric outage is scheduled for May 28, 2025. However, that date is subject to change, and you will be notified of any updates.

In order to mitigate wildfire risk, the large pole replacement project will include replacing equipment and strengthening the Xcel system to reduce the risk of wildfires and increase overall reliability and resiliency of the power grid.

Erin Smith announced her resignation as Park County attorney at the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 12. Having served the county for six years, Smith will retire on April 15.
