In the late 70s and early 80s Garry was in the recording studio laying down tracks whenever he could. That of course, not only meant fitting it in between gigs, but also related to when he had a few extra dollars for the recording process itself. This song is called, "Only You" and is one of his classic ballads. It was recorded at CSE Audio by Craig Fennessy and the musicians were:
Garry - vocals, guitars, writer & producer
Brian Soule - piano
Kerry Peterson - bass
David Accorso - drums

We need songs to lift us up! YES, we do...
I was up VERY late into the morning last evening and I came across this song by The Next Verse called, "Someday Has Begun, Pt. 1". This should be our theme or anthem for 2026. The song features: Dr. Dre, Stevie Wonder, Michael McDonald (how did his name get left off?!), and H.E.R. The theme = love can change the world. I believe so many of us desire that to be the case, but it has become exceedingly difficult. In fact, I've listened to a couple sermons on that topic in the last week. There is no clear cut answer and the challenge is monumental. But, at least we have the music to continually inspire us to new levels of at least trying to meet that challenge...
I will have a playlist soon that I hope will inspire us in the coming year. It will have songs of inspiration, to give us courage, empathy, and an ideal to show love to others. ~Garry

The photo for the cover was one I took on Christmas Eve in 1977 or 78 on Main Street in Fairport with my Kodak Reflex Instamatic (with a Schneider lens). There had been a big snow storm and the manger scene that was lit, got a little buried, but still had light. It was in front of Doser Funeral Home.
