What is waiting on me at bed time .
As these guys find there forever homes I will slowly get my bed back .
There 16 weeks and I’ve rehomed 1 . 2 more will be leaving soon . But instead of just letting them go to any home. I backed off and started training . I’ve spent months now exposing them to everything . Belgian Malinios are intelligent dogs who get bored easy .
Because the dog has become more popular over the years . Especially when people on social media see our law enforcement and military with Malinois and Shepherds suddenly everyone wants one .

Yet shepherd and Malinois are always in shelters both kill and non kill.
As a person who has saved hundreds of animals of many types .
It is my responsibility to make sure these guys have the best foundation possible going into a new home .

I have worked very hard and know each dog’s personality. So knowing what people’s lifestyle is like will be easier to pair up each dog .

Since they have had training and exposure to other people, kids, dogs, chickens and ducks this will help them greatly with there new homes .

They are high energetic dogs, they need to be walked /Ran 2 times a day .
Or a secure backyard with plenty of of room to run.
These dogs are not made to be in apartments or in areas with no yard .
They are not made to be locked into kennels 8+ hours a day .
Malinois end up becoming damaged because of the owners not the dog .

As sick as I am on top of working, caring for all these animals and training 9 Belgian Malinios at once . I find it hard to believe owners can’t handle 1 dog but it’s happening everyday .
People assume if a dog lays around all day it’s ok .
A healthy dog and mentally simulated dog will thrive .
A bored dog will find things to destroy and develop bad behavior .

These guys are still puppies they will chew if left u attended. So it’s my job to ensure they have what they need to redirect that attention to something healthier.

Nipping , biting is normal with Malinois they will out your arm n there mouth like a child would a pacifier .
Again redirecting behavior in a positive way will ensure the dog is well behaved .

Hollering at a dog , smacking at a dog , hitting a dog . Does nothing more then rile the dog up causing it to ignore your commands .
I can speak in a low voice to the boys and they listen .

Having your dog fear you is way different than respecting you .
When you can command your dog in a low tone without hollering you are doing it right .
I see people scream and chase after there dogs all the time . Picking up objects to scare the dog into stopping whatever they are doing .

It’s the same as a kid screaming doesn’t work it makes things worse .
With lots of Love , patience and a stable home and lots of structure . You will have one of the best dogs you will ever own .

Got all the night chores done for the animals and finally made it inside to bed around 2:30 am . As I get to the bed Hercules has the biggest smile on his face with his head between my pillows at first trying to hide . I say his name and this is the face that popped out . He thinks he is slick . He was all spread out feet throw on to gabe all tucked in .
The intelligence these dogs have is unreal .

I took Apollo out with me last night to work on training . He did amazing in public . Stands by me or in between my legs watching me closely . But man we got into the car and he dives across the seat plopping his chunky but on me thinking I was going to give him love as I’m driving .
When I put him back he starts talking to me and im sure he was saying some naughty words .

He I believe is going to make an amazing service dog for me . I went to get feed as as they loaded the truck up throwing feed bags in a lot of noise was made .
He slightly backed up to he directly beside me instead of in front of me as he normally does between my legs watching. But that’s ok that’s the point of desensitizing him and putting him in many situations so all this distractions become no more .
As my health declines on many fronts with mobility , balance and vision I’m working hard to train him so he will be ready and meet my needs ..
I believe he will be a perfect for me .

Don’t forget we have 4 male puppies that still need a forever home from our rescue . And if it doesnt work out for any reason we will accept the dog back at anytime no questions asked .

Pups got a new gate /door they can’t climb yet . Well I’m sure they could climb it they can’t get out let’s say 😂.
Keeping me on my toes for sure .
I had a bad seizure and I woke up to everyone of them in the bed cuddled on me few days ago
Normally there biting my hair stealing my hair tie .
Nope everyone of them on there best behavior.

My boy Apollo and Hercules were at my chest protecting me .

Normally when they jump up the two will protect me and try to push them down like nope this is my mom and my bed . So it was cool to see those two protecting and the rest behaving especially for puppies .
These guys are training well and have so much potential giving the right home and owner.

To all the animal lovers , owners etc .. anyone who feed there animals anything other then dog kibble please be aware .

They are labeling Xylitol as Birch Sugar always known as wood sugar since it’s extracted from birch trees .
However normally they just label it as its name . So please be careful since this is extremely dangerous for our 4-legged friends

Kona’s Babies
The last few weeks have been with their mommy And I have let her do her job and have had very little contact.

These Ten pups except 1 smaller are massive butterballs.
They are so strong and powerful.
I was amazed how fast they crawled away.
The growling is priceless.

They are two weeks old and getting around more . Growling , howling and letting there voices be heard 😂

Kona has did so good considering she was homeless living outside infected with ticks , severely underweight and had some very bad and aggressive habits .

Within weeks and lots of patience and work Kona stopped snapping at me when I would discipline her and tell her the word no .
She wasn’t giving up the dominance .
Well she has come so so far and will only get better .
She doesn’t chase or act aggressive towards and of the animals so we are moving forward in the right direction .

Help us name these babies .
Maybe we will put a survey or poll.
We named her Kona aka coco or squirrel .

So Kona is wore out these puppies she created are little gremlins they are thriving gaining weight .
I help a little because there’s not enough bo***es for these 10 hogs and she needed a little assistance .
Well Kona got a taste of the goats milk and it is on.
She now gets a bottle of her own before I go to bed .
I walk in and she is waiting .
Last night she no longer licked the bottle she was sucking and chugging it 😂

Please do not trust me with your animals .
I will have your ducks knocking on your bedroom door at 5 am demanding human time .

I will have your chickens crying 24/7 for attention .
All I do is create more work and mini monsters ☠️

One of our older ducks finally hatched a baby .
For the last 1.5 weeks we have had no contact and allowed her to do everything on her own other then providing shelter and food/water.

Sam has a twin sister Sue they both use to follow pip around everywhere .
They are loud very vocal and want to be left alone .
Sam decided to lay on eggs and Sue was sad her sister wasn’t with her daily anymore .
Won’t be long and they will be back by each others side with a new addition .

Tonight I asked Gabe to hold Sam and her baby while I cleaned there kennel .
She normally would scream and throw a fit .
Nope as long as her baby was in her view she was calm.
She tucked into Gabe’s beard and enjoyed being held with her baby while I cleaned there mess up. Not sure how 1 adult 1 baby duck made the mess they did but wow it was crazy .

Just look at Sam and her mini with Gabe it is the sweetest thing ever .

3 am checking on Rodney Dangergoose the Goose that sustained major Injuries during the Airport Fire . I put him in the pool for therapy and to keep him clean so he doesn’t get any skin breakdowns .
I’m staying outside now till 3/4 am every night to care for everyone then sleeping for a few hours and back up again .

I took in his friends as well to give time to Amanda to get settled back in and get all her Horses and animal back to the Ranch .
Well Eva Gosling supposedly was Ryan’s mate the White Goose I had here .
However when she purchased two Chinese geese for Ryan to have mates one of them ended up being a male (Rodney) the now injured goose
Eva and Rodney were babies together . They grew up together so when they both came here I noticed all her bad ways with other including Ryan were not Done at all to Rodney .
She is a very needy bossy female goose typical wanting to be in charge .

So we made her an enclosure in our main run away from all our birds .
After the other guys went home Eva was alone .
She could lay at the fence and be right beside our birds just not bully them . She however didn’t like it one bit and wanted her humans right away . We made the mistake on taking her for daily walks . So that’s all she wanted every minute of the day .

I brought her upstairs to my backyard where I have Rodney very close to make sure he survives. So she had her friend and would feel better .
We spend a lot of time with her because she demands it .
Suddenly she is my sidekick and refuses to leave my side and even tells pip to move along .
So I had to sn**ch pip up and cuddle with her for a hour in bed so she didn’t feel left out because she was visibly angry 😂.

Anyway Eva is eating so well now and copies my chickens perching on everything . This has been a lot of Stress on these birds being Evacutaed thrown into cages and moved all around . I’m glad she is eating because she didn’t have much appetite. Now she is eating a 1/2 large bowl of my special fermented grain mix I do for the birds . None of them turn it down ever .
She is trying her hardest to take over as the leader of the pack and steal all the humans for herself .
Whoever is around she demands them to take her for walks and hang it with her . This little monster is below . I hope we can get Rodney up walking so he can be back with his best friend soon .
