It's a Wonderful Life follows George Bailey, a man who sacrifices his dreams to help his community in Bedford Falls, but on Christmas Eve, facing financial ruin and despair, he contemplates su***de.

His guardian angel, Clarence Odbody, sent from Heaven to save him, shows George what life in Bedford Falls would be like if he had never existed.

George witnesses a dark, corrupt town (Pottersville) and sees how many lives he touched, from saving his brother Harry's life as a child to helping his neighbors, realizing the profound positive impact he's had, and he gratefully returns to his family, embracing life with newfound hope.
